Tax Certificate Sale

Florida Statutes require the Tax Collector annually, on or before June 1^st to conduct a sale of tax certificates on all lands for which taxes are delinquent for the preceding year.  The Tax Certificate Sale in 2013 will take place on Saturday, June 1, 2013.  All bids must be submitted on the Tax Collector’s tax certificate auction web site, www.BidOkaloosa.com.  For more information on this year’s sale you can view our Tax Sale Booklet here. In addition to our Tax Sale Booklet, we will be conducting educational workshops throughout the month of May.  The schedule of workshops will be as follows: May 1^st – Fort Walton Beach City Hall – 11 AM to 1 PM May 3^rd – Crestview City Hall – 11 AM to 1 PM May 7^th – Niceville Tax Collector’s Office – 6 PM to 7:30 PM May 8^th – Destin City Council Chambers – 11 AM to 1 PM May 13^th – Destin Tax Collector’s Office – 6 PM to 7:30 PM May 16^th – Crestview Tax Collector’s Office – 6PM to 7:30 PM May 20^th – Niceville City Hall – 11 AM to 1 PM May 22^nd – Fort Walton Beach Tax Collector’s Office – 6 PM to 7:30 PM If you have any questions, or would like more information on this year’s sale, please email us at TaxDept@OkaloosaTax.com
